We have compiled a list of some of the most frequently asked questions to help you when you are looking to hire a paddle board from us.

Q- What Paddle boards do you hire?

A- Here at Sup2You we source our boards from a number of top brands, every one of our premium boards are top of the range and the newest models available. Our standard rental boards are carefully selected from the most popular all round boards by our team for you to get the most out of you hire.

Q- How does it work?

A- Simply select the board you want and select the dates you want to hire it for, then we dispatch it to your location on the day you request hire to start- all our deliveries are dispatched to arrive on the morning of your hire and can be returned at the end of the last day giving you time to enjoy your board.

Q- How do you get the board to me?

A- We use our super efficient courier to dispatch the board(s) to your location and then to collect the board(s) when you are finished. You just have to pack it back up and the courier will arrive to collect from you on the day the hire finishes.

Q- what time is next day delivery cut off?

A- Our cut off time is currently 11 am, for us to be able to prepare the paddle boards and ship your order. In some circumstances we may be able to get boards shipped later in the day so please contact us directly on 07874018333 to discuss.

Q- what is the minimum hire length?

A- Our minimum hire length is from 2 days which covers mid- week hire-

If it is a weekend hire 3 days you will receive your paddle board on Friday and it will be collected on Monday giving you a full weekend on the water.

Q- Sunday Hire

A- Whilst our couriers are brilliant they do need some rest. We are currently unable to deliver or collect on a Sunday. For hires beginning on a Sunday, we will deliver your board to you on the Saturday before your hire starts. For hires ending on a Sunday you will need to be available for our courier to collect on Monday, or the board will need to be taken to a drop off location, for us to collect. 

Q- Is there a weight limit on your boards?

All of the boards we hire are designed for 1 person, however on the larger boards and adult and child may be able to use them. The boards are split into 3 size ranges- 11ft- rated for weights up to 19st, 10ft and 9ft 6 boards rated for weights up to 14st. If you are unsure of the board fr up please let us know, we'd be happy to help.

Q- What happens if the board or equipment gets damaged?

A- Please let the team know straightaway on team@sup2you.co.uk, see our terms and conditions for what happens next. Fees may be applied for loss or damage

Q- Where do you deliver to?

A- We deliver to the whole of the UK Mainland, some highlands and islands have a delivery surcharge, we will contact you prior to shipping to discuss this. We can also deliver to Northern Ireland on a special service please contact us for details.

Q- Can I buy the boards?

A- Whilst we only hire boards we also love to hear our customers getting hooked on paddleboarding, purchasing their own is something we can help to organise with our manufacturers.

Q- How do I select more than one board for hire?

A- Ordering boards to enjoy with friends couldn't be easier, add the dates for your hire then, select how many boards you need from the menu.

Q- How do I select the right sized life jacket for a younger paddleboarder?

 A- On the life jackets page you will find a size chart which is based on your child's chest size. When ordering your  junior board please add the junior life jacket size into the special instructions box in your cart. If you are not sure what size you need please ask one of the team.

Q- I have a teenage child which board should I order?

A- Whilst our boards will accommodate all shapes and sizes, we would recommend young children under the ages of 10-12s, will find the Junior boards suitable, over this age our adult boards would be best.

Q- Can junior paddleboarders go out on their own?

A- No, open water can be very dangerous and children should always be supervised by a responsible adult no matter the situation. That is why Sup2You don't allow the hire of junior boards alone.

Q- What do i do if i need to cancel or move my hire?

A- Just send the team an email and we can sort the change out, depending on when you cancel some cancellation charges may apply. see our terms and conditions.

Q- What happens if I lose some of the equipment?

A- Please let the team know straightaway on team@sup2you.co.uk, see our terms and conditions for what happens next.

Q- What happens if i lose the shipping outer bag or box?

A- All of our boards come in a specialist backpack and are shipped in an outer shipping box. This outer bag and box must be kept to safely return the equipment back to us, if you lose the outer bag or box the board must be returned dry and in another outer bag or box which will need to be sourced at your own cost- fees may be applied for loss or damage. It is also useful to remember you will need some tape to securely seal the box for returning the items back.

 Q- How do I keep safe when on my Sup2You paddle board?

A- Your safety is absolutely our number one priority and we think following expert advice is the best way to keep your party safe. There are no better experts than the RLNI so, always consult the local lifeguards or alternatively take a look at the attached link to their safety advice below.
